Hollie Smith Remix Competition: Terms & Conditions

PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS PROMOTION SUMMARY

1. The ‘Hollie Smith Remix’ Competition Terms & Conditions allows the entrant to win a spot on the track-listing of Hollie Smith’s Humour & the Misfortune of Others repackage, due later this year, with their very own original remix of Hollie Smiths single ‘Hiding’. HOW TO ENTER 2. The promotion period begins on August 16th 2010 and entries close at 11.55PM October 10th 2010.
3. The prize will be judged and winner announced on Hollie Smith’s Facebook Fan Page, also on bFM, RDU, Radio Active and official EMI Music NZ Twitter profile on October 15th 2010.
4. Entry is via www.holliesmith.co.nz. Entrants must upload an audio file of their remix of Hollie Smith’s single ‘Hiding’ at www.holliesmith.co.nz where there is a link to tools to download the stems for the track, remixing tools, and a drop box to upload your finished remix. 
5. Entrants must be living at a New Zealand address, for the entire time of the promotional period.
6. The Judge is Hollie Smith, Mikey Havoc and EMI Music NZ. 7. You may enter the competition multiple times. THE PRIZE 8. The Grand Prize for the first-place winner consists of the following: Your original remix of Hollie Smiths track Hiding that will feature on Hollie Smith’s Humour & The Misfortune of Others ‘repackage’ album later in the year. You will be credited for this remix on the back cover of the album. You will also receive 5 signed copies of the repackage album, a tee and a trucker cap. SPECIFIC COMPETITION RULES The winning remix will feature on the Hollie Smith repackage. By accepting these terms & conditions, you are giving permission for your works to be used. You will be credited for your work on the repackage. This remix competition offers permission to use ONLY Hollie Smith’s track Hiding that is available for download. The use of any other artist on the remix is strictly prohibited unless you are the copyright owner. (*** see point 2 of amended comp rules below..)Your finished remix must be available at a broadcast worthy level as a .WAV or AIFF file. With the stems available please make sure this quality is possible for contenders. AMENDED INFO*** INFORMATION & COMPETITION RULES – All entries must be submitted by 11:55pm, Sunday10th October. – All Entries should be uploaded onto the appropriate widgets, and in .WAV Format – There is no entry fee required. – There is no limit on the number of entries per person. – The winner will be notified by e-mail within soon after entries close. (important to include.) – All rights, title, and interest in both the ''Artist Content'' provided for download by Hollie Smith and the remix content created using this material shall be the property of Hollie Smith, as per the conditions contained in the license agreement (**see in the ‘download stems’ section of the widgets. Please read these before downloading or entering this competition!) ( make sure the licence agreement on our site is in the same place otherwise amend **) – The number of votes received will be taken into consideration, however, the final winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of Hollie Smith with the help of EMI music. – All entries must be original, of entrant's own creation.
